With over thirty years experience in Martial Arts, Micheal Kiely is very passionate about all aspects of Martial Arts and self defense.
During his childhood in Ireland, Micheal enjoyed boxing, but after having seen his first Bruce Lee movie, he instantly fell in love with Martial Arts.
He began training at the age of 14 and attained the level of black belt in Shotokan Karate.
Micheal moved to Los Angeles over 18 years ago to pursue his Animation career. Having found a Dojo where he could continue his Martial Arts training, he took the gold medal at the California State Taekwondo Championships in 1996 and 1997.
Along with Karate and Kung Fu, he has trained in various disciplines such as: Taekwondo, Hapkido, Judo, Aikido and for the last 3 years Krav Maga.
Micheal enjoys teaching both adults and children and believes that Martial Arts training can be a great benefit to everyone, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
